How to watch the Buffalo Bills in the NFL Playoffs
The Buffalo Bills will take on the New England Patriots on Saturday in the Wild Card Round of the NFL Playoffs. Here’s the best way to watch them.
The Buffalo Bills wrapped up the regular season with an 11-6 record and will now play host to the New England Patriots (10-7) in the Super Wild Card Round of the NFL Playoffs.
The two teams are extremely familiar with each other, which adds a unique wrinkle to this matchup. But on top of that the teams will have to deal with extreme weather (it’s projected to be in the sub-zero temperatures).
With a matchup looming on Saturday afternoon, you’ve got a couple of days to figure out a streaming solution (if you don’t have one already).
We’re here to help.
But first, let’s talk about the game a bit.

Time: Sunday, Jan. 15 at 8:15PM ET
Network: CBS
Odds: Bills -4
Over/Under: 44
For these teams, it’s all about dynamics. The Patriots can control the ground offensively and defensively, while Buffalo has a distinct edge in both passing offense and passing defense.
With the bitter cold playing a role, it might be difficult to catch the football. After all, everyone remembers the Monday night matchup when New England ran just three passing plays but racked up 222 rushing yards.
Josh Allen will obviously be key for the Bills. In the second matchup, the Patriots rarely rushed more than four defenders, forcing Allen to take the underneath stuff and stay patient. He passed that test with flying colors, throwing for 314 yards and three touchdowns.
Allen has a great cast of receivers in Stephon Diggs, Cole Beasley and Dawson Knox. Historically, Diggs has no trouble against Pats cornerback JC Jackson.
For New England, it all comes down to ball control. If they’re running the ball and forcing turnovers, they’re difficult to beat. With both Damien Harris and Rhamondre Stevenson healthy, the Patriots will attempt to take advantage of a suspect Bills rushing defense.
Buffalo is 13th in the NFL, allowing nearly 110 rushing yards per game and the Pats have totaled well above that in each of their last two meetings.
Forcing New England into third and long situations will be key for Buffalo, as the Bills passing defense has been particularly stingy. They’re allowing just 5.2 yards per pass.
