The game is a must-win for the division-leading Buffalo Bills

Every game is a big game in the NFL, and even more so at this point of the season. Last week, Buffalo dominated the New England Patriots on both sides of the ball. They scored 33 points on offense and forced rookie quarterback, Mac Jones, to play from behind.

Buffalo’s win over New England re-earned them the lead in the division, but any shortfalls from here would result in the team relinquishing their lead back to their rivals.

Buffalo’s rollercoaster season has cost them a look at the coveted number one playoff seed. The Bills went on a eight-game stretch this season where they lost every other game they played. Had the Bills won any one of the five one-score games they’ve lost, the one seed would be in play.

Although it appears the Bills will be playing on Wild Card weekend, they’d much rather be the home team than have to travel when the tournament begins. Needing two more wins to own claim as the AFC East division Champion, this contest becomes a must-win.
