Buffalo Bills vs. Atlanta Falcons: 4 players to watch in Week 17

The Buffalo Bills are going to be looking for their third straight win this weekend, something they haven’t done since they won four straight from Week 2 to Week 5. They ended a two-game losing streak in Week 15 with a win over the Carolina Panthers at home before beating the New England Patriots on the road last week.

If the Buffalo Bills want to extend their win streak, these are four players to pay extra attention to this week against the Atlanta Falcons.

Stefon Diggs

While Isaiah McKenzie generated the headlines with his performance against the Patriots, Stefon Diggs quietly had another good game as quiet as seven receptions, 85 receiving yards and a touchdown can be.

This week, the Bills are likely to have their entire wide receiver group with Cole Beasley and Gabriel Davis already activated off the Reserve/COVID-19 list. However, the matchup between Stefon Diggs and AJ Terrell is going to be one worth watching.

The Falcons’ first round pick from 2020 has played excellent football this year. He certainly has been tested this year by opposing quarterbacks with over 70 targets thrown his way but has only allowed completions on 50% of those targets.

Stefon Diggs seems to look forward to these types of challenges like he did last week against JC Jackson. I expect Diggs will want to have a big game and make another statement about where he ranks at the position in the NFL.
