The Jacksonville Jaguars were hoping that this was the year their franchise would turn the corner with arguably one of the best quarterback prospects ever in Trevor Lawrence and a coach in Urban Meyer who has won national championships at the collegiate level.

However, this season turned out to be disastrous to the point that the Jaguars fired Meyer before he could even finish the year. For the second straight offseason, Jacksonville will be looking for a new head coach.

Brian Daboll is someone that could turn this offense around and put Trevor Lawrence in a situation that could make him successful. Aside from Lawrence, the Jaguars have a good wide receiver group that includes Laviska Shenault, Marvin Jones, and running backs James Robinson, who recently suffered a torn Achilles, and Travis Etienne.

If the Jaguars want a coordinator at the NFL level with a track record of developing a quarterback and building a scheme around him, then Brian Daboll would be one of the best candidates to interview.
