Chicago Bears

Another team that is likely going to be looking for a new head coach but has what looks to be the franchise quarterback in place, then the Chicago Bears would be a great match with Brian Daboll. While the Bears haven’t officially announced that Matt Nagy won’t be back next year, all reports seem to indicate that it is only a matter of time.

While there were reports that the Bears could consider Leslie Frazier, which would be a good fit, I think Brian Daboll could make more sense. The reason is that Justin Fields has shown flashes as a rookie that he could be special and franchise quarterbacks are tougher to find.

It is important for the Bears to put a support system around Fields to help him develop and Daboll could be the head coach that helps him along in that process. The Bears also have some additional offensive playmakers already on the team like David Montgomery, Darnell Mooney, and Cole Kmet that could be the foundation for this offense.
