Quarterback

This was an incredible performance by Josh Allen and he played almost a flawless game against the Tampa Bay Bucs in Week 14. The Bills clearly came into this game with a plan to lean on Josh Allen and essentially ask him to do everything.

He would finish the game with 308 passing yards, two touchdowns, and one interception. He also added 108 rushing yards and one rushing touchdown. That interception was probably the only mistake Allen all day.

While it is not ideal to have a team’s most important player take that punishment, and it certainly opens him up to potential injury, as seen on that one run where he had his ankle rolled up on, this was the best the offense looked all season. They need to keep using this moving forward because Allen clearly can handle the responsibility.

Running Backs

In the first half, there was no running back who had a rushing attempt however the Bills tried to find other ways to keep this position involved. On the opening drive, Josh Allen threw four passes in Devin Singletary’s direction and he caught three of them.

The 89 yards from scrimmage would be the most Singletary has had since Week 2 against the Dolphins. The Bills use of Josh Allen helped open up more room for Singletary, and also Breida. This was probably the best the position has looked since early in the season.
