Buffalo Bills: Ranking the 5 most important players in Week 14
2. Micah Hyde
Micah Hyde was one of the first free agents that Sean McDermott signed after becoming head coach of the Buffalo Bills. He has spent the past five years in this defense and is one of the leaders of this defense.
The Buffalo Bills are going to need Hyde to lead by example and help a group that has struggled recently. He will also have extra responsibility in trying to help the cornerbacks on the outside, Levi Wallace and Dane Jackson, with no Tre’Davious White.
However, Micah Hyde’s primary focus this week could be covering tight end Rob Gronkowski. The Bucs tight end has been playing great since returning from injury and over the past three weeks he has had at least six receptions every game including a 123-receiving yard performance against the Indianapolis Colts in Week 12 and two touchdown receptions last week against the Atlanta Falcons.
The Buffalo Bills defense could be looking for a statement game and Micah Hyde could be the player to set the tone in Week 14.
