Wide Receivers/Tight Ends
The strength of this offense has always been the wide receivers and tight ends but against the Patriots they made too many mistakes and had too many missed opportunities. Stefon Diggs led the way with four receptions for 51 yards, including a 26-yard reception in the second half.
However, he missed a deep touchdown reception that would have almost undoubtedly swung the momentum back to the Bills. It wasn’t an easy catch by any means with how the wind was pushing it but is one that he has been known to make.
In addition, Dawson Knox was not able to do Josh Allen any favors as he had two big drops in the first half that would have picked up first downs and extended the drives. In the second half, the Bills were facing a 3rd and 9 in the red zone when Knox was called for a false start.
He had a chance to redeem himself on the next play as Josh Allen evaded rushers and threw a pass to Knox but Adrian Phillips was able to knock the ball out of Dawson Knox’s hands to save a touchdown.

Offensive Line
The Buffalo Bills got Spencer Brown back this week and there is no question it helped the pass protection. While Josh Allen was getting the ball out quickly with the Bills running quick passes due to the win, there were times where Allen had plenty of time in the pocket and this was due to the protection upfront.
The run blocking is a different story and the Bills’ offensive line got bullied by Christian Barmore and Davon Godchaux that didn’t allow them to open many rushing lanes or help the Bills running backs.
