NFL.com: Buffalo Bills move up one spot

Current Week’s Ranking: 6

Last Week’s Ranking: 7

The Buffalo Bills moved up one spot in the power rankings on NFL.com. Dan Hanzus mentions the one big question looming over the Bills and that is how they address the absence of Tre’Davious White moving forward:

"This Bills season will be defined, in part, by how Sean McDermott can pivot and adapt without his most important player on defense. You can imagine Bill Belichick is already scheming ways to attack the White-free Buffalo D with a huge divisional showdown up next."

This will be one of the biggest tests in Sean McDermott’s first five seasons as head coach. He has not really had to deal with an extended absence of one of the top players on the roster. Fortunately, McDermott and Leslie Frazier are some of the best defensive coaches in the NFL and they should be able to scheme something that takes the pressure off Levi Wallace and Dane Jackson, who is likely the replacement for White.
