Dane Jackson
The loss of Tre’Davious White leaves a big hole on this defense and is going to be a challenge for this team to replace moving forward. On Thanksgiving night though Dane Jackson did a good job stepping in right away and helping this team shut down the Saints passing game.
He would finish the game allowing only one reception on three targets for 17 yards, according to Pro Football Reference. The second-year corner would finish the game with three total tackles.
While the Saints offense is nowhere near where they were last year and have been hit hard by injuries, there is something to be said about coming into the game at a moment’s notice to replace one of the most important players and being a positive contributor.
