Matt Breida
One player that can help make Josh Allen’s job a little easier is running back Matt Breida. The veteran running back hasn’t seen much playing time to start the year but in the past two games has looked like the best running back on this team.
In those two games, Breida has 117 total yards from scrimmage and two touchdowns while playing only 26 total snaps. On Wednesday, Sean McDermott was on WGR550 and was asked if Breida has earned more playing time and was very straightforward:
The New Orleans Saints have one of the better run defenses in the NFL so it isn’t necessarily an easy matchup but the speed Breida brings could help him break a few long runs that could open up other parts of the offense.
