Tyler Bass connects on a 55+ field goal
Tyler Bass has one of the strongest legs in the league and is entering a game where he doesn’t have to worry about the outside elements. The last time Bass played inside a dome, was last year against the Arizona Cardinals when he had three field goals over 55 yards including a career-high 58-yard field goal.
This past week, Tyler Bass missed two field goals against the Indianapolis Colts of 49-yards and 56-yards. However, he didn’t miss by much with one hitting off the upright and the weather seemed to be a factor in these attempts.
This was uncharacteristic of a kicker who has shown to be almost automatic this season. Prior to the Colts game, Bass was 19 of 20 on field goal attempts, including being five of six on field goal attempts over 40 yards.
On Thursday, inside the Mercedes Superdome the Buffalo Bills kicker won’t have to worry about any weather and should add another long field goal to his resume.
