Quarterback

It is certainly easy to point the finger at Josh Allen who finished the game completing 21 of 25 pass attempts for 209 passing yards with two touchdowns and two interceptions. However, this was a week where he got almost no help from the players around him.

Entering this game, the offensive line was almost certainly going to be an issue without Spencer Brown and it was as Allen was pressured on eight of 20 pass attempts in the first half, according to ESPN’s Seth Walder.

However, this week his pass-catchers uncharacteristically struggled to catch the ball with a number of drops from players like Gabriel Davis and Dawson Knox. It wasn’t a great performance from Allen but it is hard to put the blame entirely on the Buffalo Bills quarterback.

Running Backs

The Buffalo Bills found themselves down 14-0 very early in the game which essentially forced them to completely abandon a run game that wasn’t necessarily a big part of their offense to begin with.

Devin Singletary, Zack Moss, and Matt Breida combined for only 11 carries with Breida getting the most with five. He also clearly looked like the best running back of the group by picking up 51 yards on the ground with those carries.

Matt Breida has been active the past two games and has clearly looked like the best running back of the three. At this point in the season, the Bills just need to go with the player playing the best, and right now that is Breida.
