Wide Receivers/Tight Ends

This seemed like a great opportunity for the Buffalo Bills wide receivers and tight ends to make an impact as they looked on paper like they had the advantage over the Colts secondary. However, they struggled, and it wasn’t necessarily the Colts, but rather they beat themselves with some tough drops during the game.

Dawson Knox had a few key drops but also led the team in receptions (6) and receiving yards (80). As for Stefon Diggs, he did have two touchdowns but was relatively quiet with only six targets and four receptions. In games like this, offensive coordinator Brian Daboll and Josh Allen just need to almost force the ball his way because he is too good not to see more work.

Offensive Line

There isn’t much to say for this group that hasn’t already been said. The offensive line was never supposed to be a strength for this offense but they also weren’t supposed to be this much of a liability.

The concern for this offensive line going forward is that the depth is not as good as once thought. When the Bills have Jon Feliciano and Spencer Brown on the field, this offensive line can get the job done. However, missing one, or especially both, it really starts to fall and the coaching staff can’t expect to play winning football with the five they had on Sunday against the Colts.
