NFL.com: Buffalo Bills back in the Top 5

Current Week’s Ranking: 5

Last Week’s Ranking: 8

The win over the New York Jets helped the Buffalo Bills to get back into the Top 5 in the power rankings on NFL.com. Dan Hanzus wrote:

"The Jets were just what the doctor ordered for the Bills’ slumping offense. Josh Allen picked apart New York’s weak defense, throwing for 366 yards with two scores in a 45-17 win at the Meadowlands. Allen’s offensive line provided him ample time to work from the pocket, and he re-established his connection with star receiver Stefon Diggs, who enjoyed just his second 100-yard day of the season."

One of the big positives from this past week was the performance of Stefon Diggs, who had eight receptions, 162 receiving yards, and one touchdown. As good as the wide receiver position as a whole, Diggs is just too good to not be consistently seeing targets.

The offense really didn’t get going this past week until right before halftime when Diggs had a long reception and followed it up with a touchdown catch a few plays later. The Bills have some tougher opponents coming up and if they hope to stay near the top of the AFC, their number one wide receiver will need to remain involved.
