Defensive Ends

This week the Buffalo Bills had more defensive ends active than usual after Justin Zimmer was placed on injured reserve early in the week and Star Lotulelei being placed on the Reserve/COVID-19 list on Sunday morning.

This opened the door for Efe Obada and Boogie Basham to get some playing time and they responded with Obada registering the only sack for the Bills and Basham finishing with three total tackles and one tackle for a loss.

Defensive Tackles

Another player who saw some more playing time this week was Harrison Phillips, who stepped in place of Lotulelei. He finished the game with three total tackles.

However, the star of the position was Ed Oliver who seemingly was in the backfield every play and the Jets didn’t really have an answer for blocking him. He would finish the game with a season-high three QB hits.
