Bo Scarbrough

If the Buffalo Bills don’t want to bring in a veteran and instead go with a younger player, Bo Scarbrough is a running back they should consider. He doesn’t have great speed but has incredible size at 6’1″ and 235 pounds.

The former University of Alabama running back is inexperienced as he hasn’t had many opportunities over the past three seasons since joining the league. He was a seventh round pick by the Dallas Cowboys in 2018 and released during his rookie season. He then joined the Detroit Lions midway through the 2019 season and would start five games down the stretch. During that time, he averaged 62.8 rushing yards per game and 4.2 yards per carry.

Then this past season, he was a member of the Seattle Seahawks and appeared in only one game and had six carries for 31 rushing yards. He has yet to play in a game this year after being cut by the Raiders during training camp.

If the Buffalo Bills aren’t able to improve the run blocking up front, adding a big running back that doesn’t go down on first contact like Bo Scarbrough would make a lot of sense for this offense.
