In the two games after their bye, the Buffalo Bills have not played very good football. They were lucky enough to win against the Miami Dolphins last week but that luck ran out Sunday against the Jacksonville Jaguars by a final score of 9-6.

It was easily the worst performance by the offense with only 301 total yards, two field goals, and three turnovers. These are some quick thoughts from the Bills’ performance in Week 9.

Penalties kept this game close in the first half- On the opening drive, the Jacksonville Jaguars were able to connect on a field goal to take a 3-0 lead due to Tre’Davious White being called for unnecessary roughness on a 3rd and 16 that extended the Jaguars drive.

Then on the final drive of the first half for the Jaguars, it appeared they were at least going to get a field goal after the drive was extended on a roughing the passer penalty by Tremaine Edmunds that put them into the red zone. The Bills were fortunate as Carlos Hyde fumbled on the next play that ended any chance to put points on the board.

The Bills finished the first half with six penalties for 70 yards. The second half wasn’t better and the Buffalo Bills finished the game with 12 penalties for 118 yards.
