Bold Prediction #3: Buffalo Bills have a double-digit lead after the first quarter

The Buffalo Bills have been a bit of a slow starter the past few weeks with only 13 points scored in the first quarter in their past three games. This week though, the Bills are likely going to try and get out to a quick start for a number of reasons.

The biggest reason is that the Jaguars are a team that wants to run the ball and if the Buffalo Bills can jump out to a big lead, it is going to force them to move away from the game plan. This will be put extra pressure on rookie Trevor Lawrence, which should work in the defense’s favor.

The advantage the Buffalo Bills passing game has in this week’s game should result in some points early and it wouldn’t be surprising to see them score two touchdowns in the first quarter and build a double-digit lead in the first 15 minutes of the game.
