Can the secondary force Trevor Lawrence into rookie mistakes?

The Buffalo Bills are set to face the first overall pick on Sunday in Trevor Lawrence. The Jaguars quarterback has had a typical rookie season where he has looked good at times but also has made his fair share of mistakes.

This season, Lawrence has 1,703 passing yards, eight passing touchdowns with nine interceptions. He is currently tied for second-most interceptions in the NFL this season along with Joe Burrow, Zach Wilson, Taylor Heinicke.

However, this is an area that Lawrence has improved as the season has gone on as he had seven in his first three games but has only two in his last four games.

For the Buffalo Bills though, this is something the defense has done very well this season and is currently tied for the league lead in this category with 11 on the season. The team’s starting safeties, Micah Hyde and Jordan Poyer, currently lead the team with three each.

The Buffalo Bills are likely to disguise their coverage as much as possible, hopefully confusing Lawrence and forcing him into a few turnovers during the game.
