Can the Buffalo Bills avoid another slow start?

In last week’s game against the Miami Dolphins, the Bills’ offense struggled to get anything going in the first half and had under 125 total yards and only three points. The second half was a different story and they were much more efficient with three touchdowns and a field goal.

In games where the Bills should win, they can’t afford slow starts because this keeps their opponent in the game and let them play their game. If the Bills build a big lead, it forces teams to abandon the run quicker as they try to play catch up.

For the Jacksonville Jaguars, they have an efficient run game as they average 5.1 yards per carry, which is the second-best average in the league. If the Bills allow the Jaguars to lean on the run game, they could find themselves in another competitive game.
