This game could be remembered as the Mitchell Trubisky game

The Dolphins are just a speed bump on the Buffalo Bills’ path to winning the division this week. They are not a capable team against a franchise built like Buffalo’s. Granted, it’s the NFL but the any given Sunday cliché would likely fall on deaf ears when applied to this contest.

The Bills are two touchdown favorites in this matchup. The last time these teams played, Buffalo kept Miami completely off the scoreboard, knocked Tua Tagovailoa out of the game, and sent Miami on a five-game losing streak. It will be a surprise if the Bills don’t win by 14 or more points.

In recent weeks the Dolphins have played well, only losing by a total of five points in their last two games. But the Buffalo Bills are not the Jacksonville Jaguars or the Atlanta Falcons.

This duel is lopsided on paper. And if the Bills take care of business, as expected, Mitchell Trubisky should have an opportunity to enter the game in mop-up duty just like former Bills backup quarterback Matt Barkley did, the second time the Bills played the Dolphins last season.
