The next player on this list was absolutely on track to make the Pro Bowl but a recent broken hand could derail those chances. The Buffalo Bills’ tight end has had a breakout season to start the year with 21 receptions, 287 receiving yards and a career-high five receiving touchdowns.

Even though Knox is off to a great start, he was going to face an uphill climb to reaching the Pro Bowl. The reason is that there is usually only two tight ends who make the Pro Bowl roster each year and the AFC already included Kansas City Chiefs’ Travis Kelce and Las Vegas Raiders’ Darren Waller.

If Dawson Knox’s absence is minimal and he can continue to catch touchdowns at the rate he was prior to his injury, he has a chance to unseat one of those two tight ends this year.
