Bleacher Report: Buffalo Bills remain in the Top 5

Current Week’s Ranking: 4

Last Week’s Ranking: 3

As was the case with most of the power rankings, the Bills dropped in Bleacher Report’s power rankings but not much.

"The Bills lost because they had no answer for Derrick Henry, who rolled for 143 yards and three touchdowns. The Bills lost because a defense that had been playing lights-out allowed the Titans to score on six consecutive drives (not counting a one-play “drive” at the end of the first half)."

As Prisco noted in his power rankings, the writers at Bleacher Report highlights the Bills defense struggles in slowing down the Titans offense. Once Derrick Henry got going, it opened up their entire playbook and they started to work more play action in, which kept the Bills defense off balance.

In the end, even with the loss on Monday night to the Tennessee Titans, it is clear that the Buffalo Bills are viewed as one of the best teams in the NFL. There is room for improvement but there shouldn’t be much panic after this game.
