Few final thoughts for the Buffalo Bills on Monday night

Offensive line struggled against the Titans- The Buffalo Bills made significant changes before Week 4 on their offensive line and the addition of Spencer Brown at right tackle and sliding Daryl Williams inside has given them good results the past two weeks.

However, on Monday night against the Titans was a different story. This was a week that Allen was seemingly scrambling for his life and was sacked three times and hit six. I don’t believe the Bills should make any changes but the performance in Week 6 wasn’t very good.

Buffalo Bills made the right call on fourth down- One of the biggest criticisms of Sean McDermott is his conservative nature in these situations. He certainly didn’t do that by deciding to go for it on fourth down.

While the Bills ultimately didn’t convert it, and also lost the game, it was the right call. Josh Allen is one of the best in the league in QB sneaks because of his size and this is a play they convert more times than not.

The other reason is that the Bills defense was struggling against the Titans offense. They were not able to contain them in the second half and had scored on three consecutive drives. If they settled for a field goal, with 30+ seconds and the Titans having all three timeouts, there was no guarantee it would even get to overtime.

In the end, the Bills lost but it was the right call by the coaching staff to go for it on fourth down.
