More quick thoughts from the Buffalo Bills’ performance in Week 6

Red zone offense is a concern- When the Bills are winning, this didn’t necessarily matter. However, when games are close, like they were against the Titans, they can’t afford to leave points off the board.

This is exactly what happened with the Bills only converting two of their five trips to the red zone on Monday night. They came away with field goals on two of them so they were able to get some points but touchdowns would have been the difference maker.

Tyler Bass is one of the best kickers in the league- While the Bills offense seems to struggle closer to the end zone, it hasn’t hurt them too much with a kicker like Tyler Bass. The second-year player has been automatic most of the season.

He finished the game with three field goals made of 24, 28, and 52 yards. Bass also made both of his extra point attempts.

Pass Rush was non-existent- This was a game that seemed to set up perfectly for the Buffalo Bills to show off the new and improved pass rush. The Titans have struggled to protect Ryan Tannehill and entering this week he had been sacked the most in the league.

However, on Monday night the Buffalo Bills weren’t able to really get close to the Titans’ quarterback as he was not sacked once and only two QB hits. This is something they will need to work on during the bye week.
