Micah Hyde named first-team All-Pro

Micah Hyde has long been one of the most underrated safeties in the NFL. Despite being one of the best players at his position Hyde has made just one Pro Bowl and has never been named an All-Pro.

Hyde is finally garnering recognition in 2021 as a leader of one of the league’s best defenses. Hyde is the third highest rated safety by Pro Football Focus after Week 5 and cemented his status when he returned an interception for a touchdown against Patrick Mahomes in front of a national audience.

With three interceptions and five pass deflections in just five games into the season, Hyde is having his most disruptive season yet. With the Bills having one of the league’s best defenses, he will finally get recognized for his play.

Hyde was Sean McDermott’s first signing in Buffalo, and he stuck it out through the duration of the process. There would be no better reward for Hyde’s time in Buffalo than some individual recognition before a Super Bowl victory.
