Buffalo Bills forced to make changes on their coaching staff

Part of being a great team is that your coordinators and assistant coaches become top-of-the-list candidates for nearly every head coach opening. The Bills dodged a bullet last season when they were able to keep offensive coordinator Brian Daboll in-house, coming off a 13-3 season, but it is unlikely that they have that same success again.

The Bills currently have the #1 scoring offense and scoring defense in the league, and Daboll and defensive coordinator Leslie Frazier have already interviewed for jobs in the past. Both coordinators have done a fantastic job in Buffalo, and the fact that they will be sought out for other gigs is unsurprising.

Brian Daboll has turned the offense entirely around and has turned Josh Allen into a franchise quarterback. Under Frazier and McDermott, the Bills have consistently had one of the best defenses in the NFL. Leslie Frazier’s defensive mind was on full display Sunday night when the Bills throttled the Chiefs.

With new job openings potentially in New York, Cincinnati, Las Vegas, Denver, Chicago, expect the Bills to be bringing in some new coordinators after the season.
