5 Buffalo Bills who helped steamroll the Houston Texans in Week 4
QB Josh Allen
It wasn’t a banner day for Josh Allen, but Buffalo’s quarterback still had a solid outing against the Texans.
Not needing to do too much, Allen completed 20 of his 29 attempts for 248 yards, two touchdowns, and one interception while also adding six carries for 41 yards.
His best play of the afternoon was the first play of the second quarter. The Bills’ gunslinger escaped a Texans’ pass rush and connected with Stefon Diggs for a 31-yard gain.

What made the completion so impressive was that he perfectly threaded the pass while running outside of the pocket.
His 69% completion percentage and 8.4-yards per attempt represented the second-best marks he’s posted in a game for either category this season. Through four weeks, Allen has posted a 63.5-percent completion percentage for 1,055 passing yards, nine touchdowns, and two interceptions.
With a primetime matchup against the Chiefs on deck, Allen will likely be tasked with doing more in Week 5.
