What will the Bills do to counter Brandin Cooks in the passing game?

Davis Mills has a favorite target and he is Brandin Cooks. Cooks accounted for 112 of Mills’ 168 passing yards last week. And there isn’t another big-named threat on the Houston roster right now.

Buffalo has Tre’Davious White, an All-Pro-caliber corner, who is more than capable of shadowing Cooks and taking him out of the game. The last time the Bills played the Texans, White held former Houston receiver DeAndre Hopkins without a catch in the first half. Buffalo could also allow White to stay on his side of the field and call on Levi Wallace to play his role, regardless of who Houston puts in front of him.

One thing that can neutralize Houston’s passing game is Buffalo’s dynamic defensive front. They should have their way with the Houston offensive line, who gave up four sacks last week.

The Bills should win this game handily, as their opponent is not in the same class as them within the conference. Buffalo should thoroughly dominate on Sunday to build on their conference record and practice execution ahead of the clash of the titans on Sunday Night Football next week.
