The Buffalo Bills’ Week 1 hiccup against the Pittsburgh Steelers is long in the rearview mirror at this point. After out-scoring the Miami Dolphins and Washington Football team by a combined margin of 78-21, Buffalo is 2-1 and atop the AFC East where it belongs.

The Bills shouldn’t have too much trouble in Week 4 either, with a matchup against the Davis Mills-led Houston Texans. That is, of course, as long as they’re not already looking past the Texans in anticipation of a Sunday Night Football showdown with the Kansas City Chiefs in Week 5.

Bills vs Texans Odds Week 4

The odds on WynnBET have the Bills as colossal 16-point favorites — the biggest of the week by a huge margin. They’re also -1250 favorites on the moneyline (compared to +800 underdogs for the Texans) in a game with a 47.0-point over/under.

Bills vs Texans Prediction Week 4

The question isn’t whether the Bills will win this week, it’s by how much.

Davis Mills just doesn’t look ready to be a starting quarterback at the NFL level at this point. The Texans tried to protect him with an uber-conservative game plan early in Week 3, but that didn’t yield much. The rookie managed to complete 67.9% of his passes, but he notched only 168 yards on 28 attempts, getting sacked 4 times and helping the Texans score an uninspiring 9 points. The Bills’ defense grades out as the fifth-best in the NFL, according to Pro Football Focus, and they’re going to make things incredibly tough on Mills here.

The Texans biggest weakness on defense has been against the run this season, which isn’t an area the BIlls will usually look to exploit. They just gave up 30 yards to Sam Darnold though, and it’s safe to say that Josh Allen is at least a little bit better than Darnold.

Buffalo keeps rolling with another blowout this week, winning 31-13.
