These are the Buffalo Bills who are inactive for Week 3 against the Washington Football Team

This week’s inactive report for the Buffalo Bills was likely to have some surprises since the Bills enter this week relatively healthy. The team had only two players with injury designations with Levi Wallace and Dane Jackson both inactive.

However, with the team not calling up anyone from their practice squad it was a good indication that both would be ready to go.

The biggest change this week was veteran running back Matt Breida being inactive. The Buffalo Bills have typically only kept three running backs active on game day but last week had four against the Miami Dolphins. This week they return to what they have typically done with Devin Singletary, Zack Moss, and Taiwan Jones (who is primarily a special teams contributor) active this week.

Buffalo Bills have three defensive linemen inactive for Week 3

The Buffalo Bills kept 11 defensive linemen on their 53-man roster but when it comes to the game day roster, this is the position group that has had the most inactive players.

For the third straight game, second round draft pick Boogie Basham has been inactive. He is joined by Harrison Phillips, who is inactive for the second straight week. This is likely a trend to continue as long as Star Lotulelei is able to play and he is joined by Ed Oliver, Vernon Butler Jr. and Justin Zimmer.

The third defensive lineman is defensive end Efe Obada, who is also inactive for the second straight week. The final inactive player is fifth round draft pick Tommy Doyle and this is the third straight week that the offensive tackle is inactive.
