Buffalo Bills Matchup #3: DE Chase Young vs. RT Daryl Williams, LT Dion Dawkins

Both Daryl Williams and Dion Dawkins will likely see a fair amount of Chase Young on Sunday afternoon.

The sophomore edge rusher, who won Defensive Rookie of the Year honors and was named to the Pro Bowl, hasn’t quite picked up where he left off in 2020. Through two games in 2021, Young hasn’t recorded a single QB hit nor a sack, although he has produced two tackles for a loss.

Dawkins, who had COVID-19, has admittedly not felt fully healthy this season.  After a poor effort against Pittsburgh Steelers rusher Melvin Ingram in Week 1, he had a better showing in Week 2 and didn’t allow a sack.

Williams was just OK against the Dolphins, allowing one sack in the contest, although, he hasn’t been as sharp as he was in 2020.

Keeping the pocket clean for Josh Allen, as always, will be crucial. Young has proven to be a game-wrecker in his young career, but it’ll be up to Williams and Dawkins to prevent that from happening.
