After Terry McLaurin, the Washington Football Team does a good job of utilizing their tight ends and running backs in the passing game. This includes players like tight end Logan Thomas and running backs Antonio Gibson and J.D. McKissic.

In the first two games of the 2021 season, tight ends and running backs have received 39% of the team’s targets and have accounted for 42% of their receiving yards.

This puts pressure on the Bills linebackers in pass coverage but fortunately for this defense they have Matt Milano. The fifth-year linebacker is one of the best in the NFL at his position in defending the pass.

This was one of the reasons the Buffalo Bills were willing to re-sign Milano to the contract they did. If the Buffalo Bills defense want to have a similar performance to what they did last week against the Miami Dolphins, they will need Matt Milano to have a good game.
