Buffalo Bills defense holds Washington under 250 total yards

In the first two weeks of the season, the Washington Football team has averaged 333 total yards and this past week surpassed 400 total yards against the New York Giants.

However, Washington hasn’t faced a defense that has been playing as well as the Buffalo Bills have been. In two games, the Bills have allowed only 252 total yards to the Pittsburgh Steelers and 216 total yards to the Miami Dolphins.

This season, the Bills have done a good job of putting pressure on opposing quarterbacks and not allowing first downs. After the first two weeks, the Buffalo Bills have allowed the fewest first downs with 29, and five were a result of a penalty.
