Stefon Diggs has double-digit receptions in Week 3

It has been a slow start for Josh Allen through the first two games and this also means that Stefon Diggs is off to a slow start as well. The Buffalo Bills star wide receiver through two games has 13 receptions for 129 receiving yards and one touchdown.

These numbers are well below Diggs’ per game average from a season ago when he averaged 7.9 receptions, and 95.9 receiving yards per game. The per reception average is also lower this year at 9.9 yards which is two yards fewer than last year (12.1).

If the Bills want to get their passing game back on track the pressure will certainly be on Allen and Diggs. Stefon Diggs is a key piece as he takes attention away from the other wide receivers and create more room to operate.

This week, a point of emphasis will be to get Stefon Diggs involved early and often. Brian Daboll will likely try to call plays specifically to get him into the game flow that hopefully also gets Josh Allen into a rhythm.

The Washington secondary has struggled in the early part of this season with Keenan Allen catching nine passes for over 100 yards and Sterling Shepard catching nine passes as well for 94 receiving yards. I expect Stefon Diggs to surpass that reception total and finish the game with double-digit catches.
