Buffalo Bills vs. Miami Dolphins: How to watch and final thoughts for Week 2
Will the defense continue their stellar performance?
Buffalo’s run defense did an impressive job on rookie Najee Harris in Week 1. Harris had minimal running room and finished the duel with only 2.8 yards per carry on 16 attempts. The Bills rush defense struggled in 2020 and opponents who were successful running the ball won the game or kept them too close for comfort.
Against a familiar opponent, the Bills’ defense should be drooling in anticipation to take on an unproven offense with Tua at the helm.
In last year’s matchup, Buffalo’s defense intercepted Tua three times on their way to a 30-point blowout victory. If the Bills are looking forward to the same result, they have to continue stuffing the run and forcing teams to throw the ball against the strength of their defense.
Sunday afternoon is a chance at redemption for Buffalo. They’ll have to execute on offense as if there is no tomorrow because falling to 0-2 doesn’t bode well for their playoff chances.
The game should be fun. And hopefully, Buffalo comes away with a bounce-back win to even their record at 1-1. A win would go a long way in staying the course of obtaining the number 1 seed in the conference in mid-January.
