Last week, the Buffalo Bills had six wide receivers active but only four (Stefon Diggs, Cole Beasley, Emmanuel Sanders, and Gabriel Davis) played more than 50% of the offensive snaps. In fact, one player barely saw the field and could be the one player inactive this week to create that spot for Zack Moss.

Jake Kumerow had a great training camp and preseason which helped him earn that spot on the initial 53-man roster. However, he is unlikely to see much playing time unless there is an injury at the wide receiver position. The player currently ahead of him on the depth chart, Isaiah McKenzie, was even limited in playing time with only 15 offensive snaps.

While Kumerow did play a majority of the special teams snaps with 19, which was 66% of the team’s total, it likely isn’t enough to warrant him being active and the team making one of their running backs inactive.
