Passing defenses on the Buffalo Bills’ schedule

The final reason that Josh Allen should win the MVP award is that he appears at this point of the year to have a very favorable schedule in terms of pass defense. I write appears as performances can change drastically from year to year but based on the stats from last year, Josh Allen doesn’t face many elite secondaries.

Of the 17 regular season games, only five games are against teams that finished in the Top 10 against the pass last year which includes two games against the Patriots. In addition, two of the first three games are against two of those teams with the Pittsburgh Steelers in Week 1 and the Washington Football Team in Week 3.

However, the Buffalo Bills have eight games this season against teams that finished in the Bottom 10 in passing yards allowed with two of those games in the last two weeks of the season against the Atlanta Falcons and New York Jets.
