Buffalo Bills Offense

Final Grade: B+

The performance in the final preseason game is going to be remembered because that was the only game Josh Allen played. He looked great and appears set to pick up right where he left off from last season. In a little over a half of football, Allen completed 20 of 26 for 194 yards and two touchdowns.

However, it was Mitchell Trubisky who actually had the best performance among the quarterbacks in his return to Chicago. He also played about a half in that game and completed 20 of 28 for 221 passing yards and one touchdown while leading the Bills on scoring drives in six of his first seven drives.

As for the run game, it showed a little more promise than last season with Devin Singletary leading the way. He finished the preseason with 63 rushing yards and an average of 6.3 yards per carry, finding the touchdown twice (one rushing, one receiving). He looks like he may end up entering the season as the number one running back in this offense.

At receiver, the Bills didn’t have Stefon Diggs but it didn’t matter much as players like Gabriel Davis, Isaiah McKenzie and Marquez Stevenson all made plays at different points in the season. It shows just how deep this position is and one of the reasons why the Bills kept seven wide receivers.

The offense was the strength of this team last year and looks like they are set to remain near the top of the league in most offensive categories this season.
