Defensive End (7)

Jerry Hughes, Mario Addison, Greg Rousseau, Boogie Basham, AJ Epenesa, Efe Obada, Darryl Johnson

Cut: Mike Love

This position group was a pleasant surprise for many this training camp. There are so many players playing well that it will be very hard for Brandon Beane to decide who to cut. When he joined the broadcast team for a discussion during the game against the Packers he stated that Buffalo had been receiving calls about their defensive ends. Assuming nobody gets traded Buffalo will likely keep seven guys. All of these players can contribute in different ways and that is what makes this group so intriguing. Some players, who other teams may be asking about, are Jerry Hughes, Mario Addison, and Efe Obada.

Mike Love is unfortunate to have had to compete with this group but could be added to the practice squad where he has been before. The Buffalo Bills have tough decisions here and although Beane could get some help with trade offers Buffalo really tried to overhaul their pass rush this season so they will likely not give up anybody significant unless they are getting a solid return in draft picks.
