Wide Receiver (7)

Stefon Diggs, Emmanuel Sanders, Cole Beasley, Gabriel Davis, Jake Kumerow, Isaiah McKenzie, Marquez Stevenson

Cut: Isaiah Hodgins, Steven Sims, Brandon Powell, Tanner Gentry

What was probably the most exciting position battle at the start of camp ended up being very anti-climatic as Jake Kumerow. Isaiah McKenzie, and Marquez Stevenson all played very well in camp and the preseason games and likely all locked up their spots after the four guys who we all knew would make the team. While seven receivers is a large number Buffalo runs a ton of four and five wide receiver sets making keeping seven wide receivers easily justifiable.

Isaiah Hodgins seemed like he was going to make the roster going into camp but after only 15 snaps in preseason games and injury issues in camp, he is going to be cut or could be placed on the IR. Steven Sims is a name to watch for the practice squad because the Bills are still unsure at the return position and being able to call him up if needed is something Brandon Beane may be interested in.
