Set it in stone at quarterback that the Buffalo Bills have a Top 5 starter in the NFL and a Top 5 backup as well with Josh Allen and Mitch Trubisky. Allen looks to build on his fantastic season last year. If there are areas that Allen can improve it can be with ball security and his deep ball.

Allen was one of the best intermediate throwers in the league last season but sometimes struggled with his accuracy on throws 40+ yards down the field. This is also something that both Allen and star receiver Stefon Diggs identified as areas they need to improve. Allen does not need to become an elite deep-ball thrower by any means. He just has to learn how to control his arm on those deep throws like he was able to last year in the intermediate range.

In terms of ball security, Allen has done a good job of staying away from throwing interceptions but still is a little loose with the football when scrambling. If Allen can limit his fumbles and interceptions even more than he did last year then the Buffalo Bills are in for a big season.

Trubisky showed against the Bears why he is one of the best backups in the league. Under a strong offensive mind like Brian Daboll, Trubisky would likely be able to lead the Bills to the playoffs on his own.
