Cornerback (5)

Tre’Davious White, Levi Wallace, Taron Johnson, Dane Jackson, Siran Neal

Cut: Rachad Wildgoose, Cam Lewis, Nick McCloud, Olaijah Griffin

Another position that seems like it is easy to guess what players but I am unsure about how many corners Buffalo will bring on. At first glance, I think Tre’Davious White, Levi Wallace, Taron Johnson, Dane Jackson, and Siran Neal are all safe.

If Buffalo keeps the sixth guy my bet would be on Cam Lewis but Brandon Beane rarely cuts draft picks and Rachad Wildgoose was a sixth round pick this season. McCloud and Griffin are practice squad candidates who both could be in Buffalo for the next season.

What makes this so interesting is that Levi Wallace and Dane Jackson are both hurt. Both guys have short-term injuries and should be ready by week one but it still is concerning heading into roster cuts. I would not be shocked if Buffalo looked at potential veteran corners that could be available through trade or who may be cut on Tuesday just to add some more confidence in the group.
