Jerry Hughes/Mario Addison

This preseason the Buffalo Bills pass rush has looked significantly improved led by the young pass rushers that include Greg Rousseau, Boogie Basham, and A.J. Epenesa. The depth they have at the position is really impressive and the team is going to have some tough decisions.

The great part is that with how good this pass rush has looked, the Bills have done it without technically their starters, Jerry Hughes and Mario Addison. The two veterans are at the top of the depth chart but the Bills have rotated their defensive linemen frequently over the years under Sean McDermott and snaps are divided fairly even among three, or four, defensive ends.

The biggest question will be how Jerry Hughes and Mario Addison look and could this change the plan for the season for the Buffalo Bills? After the NFL Draft, Brandon Beane reiterated that the veterans were going to be part of the team.

However, at the time Greg Rousseau was considered to be more of a project but through two preseason games, he appears ready to contribute this season. If Mario Addison looks good on Saturday, it could certainly help his case to remain on this team.
