Running Back: Devin Singletary

Singletary only got three touches in Saturday’s game but he made the most of them. On a 4th and 1 toss play, he turned what looked like a loss of yardage and a turnover on downs into a 14-yard touchdown run with an impressive feat of speed and elusiveness.

On his other two touches, Singletary picked up a 7-yard rush, and caught a pass several yards behind the line of scrimmage before avoiding tacklers and once again turning a loss into a positive gain. So far this preseason, Singletary looks the best he has ever looked in a Bills uniform and will be looking to finally break out in 2021.

Wide Reciever: Isaiah McKenzie

While Punt Returner Isaiah McKenzie had a gaff that could potentially move him down the depth chart, wide receiver Isaiah McKenzie played a nearly flawless game. In a little over a quarter of action McKenzie was targeted 8 times by QB Mitch Trubisky, McKenzie turned his 8 targets into 7 catches for 72 yards and picked up some key first downs. After being cut multiple times, McKenzie seems to have found a home for himself in Buffalo even if he doesn’t hold on to the returner job. McKenzie did suffer a shoulder injury at Tuesday’s practice and is described as being “between day to day and week to week” with his recovery.
