Cody Ford establishes himself as the starting right guard

The Buffalo Bills entered training camp with not many questions along the offensive line with really only one starting job up for grabs. With Jon Feliciano essentially locked in as one starting guard, the other spot was going to be a battle between Cody Ford, Forrest Lamp, and Ike Boettger.

The battle never really came together as Lamp struggled with a calf injury for most of training camp. Meanwhile, Cody Ford began training camp as the starter and never relinquished that role.

He continued with good performances in the two preseason games, especially against the Bears, and at this point is the no questioned starter.

One of the reasons that the Buffalo Bills should be happy about the return of Cody Ford is that he is one of their better run blockers. It will not be surprising to see Brian Daboll call plenty of runs to the right this season which leads into the final development.
