Tanner Gentry

The wide receiver position is one of the deepest on the Buffalo Bills roster and the team is going to have to make some tough decisions for those final roster spots. They will likely want to use this final preseason game as a way to get as much film on those players competing for that final roster spot.

However, one player who is unlikely to factor into that battle is wide receiver Tanner Gentry. The former University of Wyoming wide receiver has a connection with Josh Allen from their college days however he hasn’t shown much in the first two preseason games.

In the games against the Lions and the Bears, Gentry has combined for one reception for nine yards on only two targets. He is a player that could end up on the practice squad down the road but right now, he is a player that would make sense for the Buffalo Bills to release as they cut the roster down.
