These are four Buffalo Bills who need to have a good game against the Chicago Bears
For players fighting for a roster spot or trying to move up the depth chart, these preseason games are critical. The opportunities to make an impression and prove to the coaching staff they deserve one of those spots on the 53-man roster are quickly going away when considering there is one less game in the preseason than in past years.
On Saturday, there are four players on the Buffalo Bills that really need to have a good game against the Chicago Bears starting with a player on the offensive line.
Bobby Hart
The Buffalo Bills signed Bobby Hart as a free agent to replace Ty Nsekhe as that veteran swing tackle that could replace either starter if the need were to arise. The experience Hart brings is even more important when considering the other backup tackles, Spencer Brown and Tommy Doyle, are rookies.
However, the first preseason game for Bobby Hart was not good and Lions defensive end Julian Okwara had himself a game. In the video clip in the tweet by Pro Football Focus, Hart doesn’t look to give much resistance as Okwara goes right around him for the sack.
While the Buffalo Bills would like to have experience at offensive tackle, it doesn’t mean much if the player struggles as Hart did against the Detroit Lions. He is a player that needs a big bounce-back game or the Bills could be looking at the free agent market.
