Buffalo Bills: 3 free agent offensive tackles they should consider signing

When looking at his resume, Mitchell Schwartz is one of the best offensive tackles in the NFL. From 2012 to 2019, Schwartz started every game at right tackle between his time with the Cleveland Browns and Kansas City Chiefs and was named first-team All-Pro in 2019.

However, this past season, Schwartz played only six games due to a back injury and had surgery this past February. As Pete Grathoff at The Kansas City Star recently detailed, Schwartz is working his way back and looks like he may be close to returning and in a position to help a team.

While Schwartz has only played right tackle in his NFL career, he has practiced at left tackle at times. In 2020, Mitchell Schwartz talked about always being ready to play on either side of the line:

"I don’t take too many left side snaps, but its always there. You never know in an emergency if Fish (Eric Fisher) goes down, the next tackle goes down, we’re kind of left with five guys so I got to always be ready to go to any position really to be honest."

Schwartz has a number of questions that need to be answered before the Buffalo Bills would consider signing him, however, if he shows he is healthy and over the back injury, this would be a great signing to help the depth at offensive tackle.
